The Habitat Penang Hill Admission Pass (Day Entry)

Please be informed that Penang Hill Funicular Service will have scheduled maintenance from 6 to 12 January 2025. During this time, Penang Habitat will be closed.

Operation Hours

The Habitat Penang Hill is open daily from 9:00am to 7:00pm, last entry at 5:30pm, exit by 7pm.

For the Sunset Walk experience (Saturdays and Sundays), the hours are from 5:30pm to 7:45pm, last entry at 6:30pm.

The Habitat Penang Hill provides the most authentic, diverse and educational Malaysian rainforest experience. Reconnect with nature in its purest form as you immerse yourself in our 130-million year old rainforest. Starting at the forest floor, our Naturalists will take you on a journey along our Nature Trail to explore the myriad of flora and fauna – plants, trees, insects, birds, reptiles, and mammals that call The Habitat home. Explore the biodiversity of the rainforest canopy on our 230m Langur Way Canopy Walk. Visit Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk at the top of Penang Hill, and embrace the 360-degree panoramic views of Penang Island from the highest viewing point of Penang. Our Shop on the Hill carries educational and ethically produced merchandise themed around all things nature and culture. Finish at our Habitat Café with refreshments ranging from artisanal coffee, gourmet cakes, and Malaysian culinary delights, to Penang-themed craft beer. Discover a different side of Penang Hill.

Terms and Conditions

• The price is apply for all market.
• All price are subject to change with or without prior notice.
• Admission tickets only valid for Day Entry, not inclusive of The Flight of the Colugo Zip Admission.
• The ticket is just for per entry, if customer wish to go for Sunset Walk they can stay in the park but will have to pay for additional cost of sunset walk experience.
• The Habitat reserves the right to modify, reroute or cancel program without giving prior notice where situation warrants.

Guest Policy

• Adult : 13 to 59 years old
• Child : 4 to 12 years old
• Senior Citizen : 60 years old and above
• Child age 0-3 is free of charge of admission. 

Good To Know

• Standard Walk:
• 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Sunset & Night Walk:
• 5:30pm onwards
• Last admission: 6:00pm (Exit by 7:15pm)
• If customer would like to continue for Sunset & Night Walk kindly stay in the park but will have to pay for additional cost of sunset walk experience.
• The Habitat Penang Hill is on a hill accessible via the Funicular train from Air Itam, Penang or Botanical Gardens, Penang.

• Present the PRINTED E-Ticket along with your IC/Passport/Student Card at the ticketing counter to redeem entrance ticket.
