Welcome to Minang Cove Resort & Spa, a tropical island paradise. Located in the south of the beautiful island of Tioman, a truly stunning location. Off our private beach you will enjoy the warm crystal clear waters, of the South China Sea. Where you can snorkel or scuba dive with the abundant marine life, living in and around our live reef, including turtles. Those who are looking for small friendly resort, surrounded by nature, with glimpses of local wild life and unspoilt rainforest. Look no further!!! To access the resort, you can take a ferry from the Mersing ferry terminal. Then getting off at the 1st stop, at Genting Village. There our resort speedboat will transfer you to the resort. The second way is to fly, on Berjaya Air from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. Again our speedboat will transfer you to the resort. One of the resort representatives will meet you on your arrival at the airport. (For flight and ferry transfers you need to inform us in advance to arrange this transfer.)

We have 18 rooms at the resort, which are perfectly clean, well maintained and all with incredible views. We serve authentic local food for evening dinner, changing its theme every night. Lunches are ala-carte and a mix of local and western. You will also enjoy a variety of cool beverages served at our restaurant and beach Bar. Watch the sunset with a tasty cocktail or have a glass of wine over dinner. Our room rates included half board, which is breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Some of the activities offered at the resort are, snorkelling, scuba diving, jungle tracking, fish feeding, fishing and island tours. The facilities which are available are, The Minang Spa, private jetty & beach, sun deck with loungers, sun shades, a library, fully equipped dive centre (with resident instructor) , laundry service and baby sitting. Room as well as beach towels provided. The overall atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. Helpful, friendly staff providing an unforgettable experience, in your Island Paradise.

The Minang Family Cabin is a comfortable air conditioned, en-suite single story cabin, built to traditional styling with local wooden flooring and wooden furnitures. The rooms are spacious and include their own veranda with stunning views of the cove. Each family cabin can sleep up to 5 people in comfort. Please advice us of your requirements when booking to ensure availability.

Sea View Deluxe

The Minang Sea View Deluxe Chalet is a comfortable air conditioned, en-suite single story bungalow, built to traditional styling with local wood furniture. The rooms are spacious and include their own veranda with stunning views over the cove. Each chalet can sleep up to 3 people in comfort. We can supply cots and high chairs for families at no extra charge.

Beach Front Deluxe

The Minang Beach Front Deluxe Chalet is a comfortable air conditioned, en-suite single story bungalow, built to traditional styling with local wood furniture. The rooms are spacious and include their own veranda with stunning views over the cove. Each chalet can sleep up to 3 people in comfort. We can supply cots and high chairs for families at no extra charge. 

Hill Side Villa

The Hill Side Villa is on the hill overlooking the cove. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds with connecting bathroom. The Third bedroom has three bunk beds with connecting bathroom. Also has a small kitchen with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. The large veranda has a three piece lounging chairs and coffee table, as well as a six chair dinner table. The villa can sleep 10 people in comfort. Please advise us of your requirements when booking to ensure availability.

Beach Front Villa

This villa is right on the beach and at high tide the water goes under the veranda. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has a triple bunk-bed (queen-size bed below, single bed on top). The hall hosts the second bathroom and a small kitchen with mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities. The large veranda has a three piece lounging chairs and coffee table. The villa can sleep up to 7 people in comfort. We can supply high chairs and cots for families at no extra charge.

Terms & Conditions

• Minimum 2 Nights stay. We require a full payment to confirm this reservation.
• There will be additional charges for extra person (mattress provided).
• For the public ferry, must select GENTING Jetty or MUKUT Jetty drop off/pick up point on Tioman Island. We will arrange the speedboat transfers from there.
• There will be extra charges if request from/to other Jetty on Tioman Island for transfers.
• Please be alert that our speedboat transfers on Tioman Island available from 8.00am to 5.00pm only. Let us know the ferry details at least one week before arrival.

Guest & Extra Bed Policy

• Child age is above 24 months old until 11 years old.
• Age 24 months and below is Free Of Charge.
• Baby cot on request only, with additional charges.
